Then data was transferred to GPI to create this feature class. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 11 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt"&gt;From GPI:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 11 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt"&gt;"To calculate rooftop solar potential, a set of suitability criteria were applied and calculated:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;padding:0 0 0 0;"&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 11 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt"&gt;No solar may be built within 6 feet of the edge of the building rooftop (per OSHA and solar maintenance / installation requirements)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P STYLE="margin:0 0 11 0;"&gt;&lt;SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt"&gt;Building slope (pitch) and aspect (orientation to the sun) were both calculated. For slope, rooftops with a no slope were calculated as “flat” rooftops, which have a slightly larger suitable minimum square foot area for installation than roofs with a pitch.
